Out of an 1896 farmhouse on the Coast Fork of the Willamette Valley comes some of the healthiest bread available. Using a stone mill to grind organic wheat into fresh flour, the Cottage Grove Farmhouse Bakery is able to achieve maximum freshness, flavor and nutrition. No chemicals, preservatives, dough enhancers or conditioners - just real honest bread. This is the homemade bread Grandma would still make if she had a remodeled 2,000 sq. ft. bakery/kitchen with a stone mill.

This is our most popular bread. It is chock full of sunflower seed, pumpkin seeds, millet, sesame seeds, flax seeds and poppy seeds. Toasting it brings out the nutty flavor. |

Multi - Grain starts with our fresh ground wheat flour and then we grind a mixed whole grain into flour. We add organic oats and millet to round out a nice compliment of grains that tastes great. |

Farmhouse Oatmeal is, you guessed it, made from oatmeal. We make a mix of water and organic oats and allow this to sit for a while before adding it to the dough. The oatmeal bread has a almost sweet taste that really appeals to kids and remember oats are heart healthy. |

We get a lot of comments on our white bread. People seem to really like it and say it is their favorite white bread. I think using honey really sets our bread apart from others. Team members Mike and Violet claim this bread as yummy. |

This bread is a 50/50 mix of our wheat flour and white flour. It is a nice soft texture great for peanut butter & jelly sandwiches. |

Sourdough is unique in it's nature. No two sourdoughs are ever the same due to the fact that the "sponge" collects natural yeast strains from it's own locale. We are very proud of our sourdough and it's nutty wheat taste. |

The Spelt bread contains spelt flour, honey, water, yeast, and salt. |

Sunflower bread is like a slice of summer. It is loaded with sunflower seeds and this adds a nice crunch to every bite. |

Our wheat bread is our heart and sole of the bakery. All other breads get their start from this delicious bread. Violet also loves the Wheat bread. |

Our Country Rye is one of Farmhouse's first breads and has proven to be a favorite among the Rye lovers out there. |

We have had the same sour dough starter for about 10 years now and are very proud of the great flavor in this bread. It is fast becoming a best seller. Owner Bob and Manager Joe claim this as their favorite. |

A garlic lovers dream, not only does this bread contain minced garlic but also chunks and often whole cloves of garlic. Plus, generous amounts of Parmesan cheese and basil. A must with any Italian meal or great at BBQ's. |

The name says it all, a swirl of gooey goodness oozes from each slice. A favorite for making french toast. Treat your family next Saturday morning. |

This bread is as it's name states, a Powerhouse. It is full of raisins, sunflower seeds, flax seed, grains, and molasses. Everything you need to start your morning right. This is owner Pat's favorite topped with almond butter or peanut butter. Backpackers really like this too. |

People have given us great feed back on these buns. We can't make enough of them. They hold up to your juiciest sandwich. |

A very spicy bread with cheddar cheese, roasted red pepper, lots of jalapenos and spices. Not for the faint of heart. Our dough troll Adam loves this bread and wants it known that he thinks we do NOT make it often enough. |

Onion Rye Herb is an excellent bread to serve with hardy stews or soups. It's full of fresh onions, dried dill, basil, and seeded coating on the top. |
